Which Specialist Insurance Company?

I've searched this post and only managed to find a list of insurance companies, but am hoping someone can help me narrow my search down as a lot of you guys have a modified car.

My car has non standard alloys is lowered and I have changed the front grille and most insurance companies that I have phoned say that I need specialist car insurance!!!

Anyway I am currently insured with Adrian Flux and have a very reasonable renewal quote but have had a bad experiance with them so I would like to change to another company if I can get a decent quote.

Can you guys with specialist insurance post the companies that you use by any chance?

A plan always come up good but not to sure on the mod's

I'm with Admiral, didn't cost much more to insure after I had a bodykit fitted - but they will only replace with standard parts if the need arose.

This is what most insurers do, but I think Adrian Flux will replace the modified parts too - so if this is important it might be better to stick with them.

Anyways I phoned Adrian Flux today and told them not to automatically renew my policy as I told them that I had obtained a much better quote :winky: They asked if I wanted them to try and beat that quote,they called me back half an hour later and said that they were finding it very difficult to beat the quote but that they would drop the commision that they earn so that it would be more competitive and I managed to save another £90!!

Guess I'll be sticking with them for now!!
