My Car Has Eaten A Cd!

Hi there.

There is a CD in the player that is no longer visible. It was making a grinding noise when I put is in and trying to eject it never came out and in no longer visible.

Is this a common issue? Any clues on fault/fix? Another job for Lexus I fear.

my CD player did this and that was it,, did not work from then on ;)

mine does the same with the snowpatrol album.it pretends as if it isnt actually there and then plays it when i whizz through all the discs individually.i end up having to play them one by one,then it eventually finds it.

Ive un bolted my cd player, so when you hear that grinding noise, you just pull the whole unit out, stick ur fingers in and pull them out!! :D

All fixed! I kept the load button pressed and it then saw disc 2 and ready to load disc 3. I was able to eject the eaten cd and re-inject it into the same bay and it played.
