6x9 Speaker Problem

Recommended Posts

No theres isn't a pre made one but most members just use some MDF. Cut around the original speaker and then the after market one for the hole in the middle.

Are the speakers not catching on the boot lifter bars? they noramlly do unless you have the mdf to raise them up a bit.

I installed the infinity speakers too, didnt use any MDF to raise them above the bars, seems to just miss it :whistling: i think i only put 2 bolts in each from what i can remember and used some silicon snot to stop it from rattlin. Its worked a treat, only i think ive managed to blow one of them

I have just fitted some new Infinity 6x9's and as soon as i put the bass on, all they do is rattle and dont play right.

Any ideas on what i can do?

i of course assume that you have changed the original head unit or used one of the adaptors from eBay??

I have changed the head unit to a Alpine with a Kenwood Graphic. Also have a 12" Westcoast Sub in a ported box made for the lexus. I just wanted to change the 6x9's because needed more treble.
