Sc430 18" Wheels On A Mk1 Gs300

Recommended Posts

Would standard SC430 18" alloy wheels look good on a mk1 GS300??

I know the MK1 GS300 sports has the multispoke alloys but they are as rare as rocking horse :tsktsk:

Here are the wheels on an LS

or on the SC

Did we not have an SC owner somewhere near you (not far off the M3) who had put Porshe wheels onto his SC?

If you look him up he may well just let you put on the original SC wheels so that you can have a look.

Just a thought

Perhaps they looked like Porche wheels. I fully respect your knowledge as you always seem to know the answers on all the wheel questions. Impressd as ever.

This was the topic and it was someone on there that asked if they were Porshe 928 wheels.

They are like the Porsche telephone / dial wheels. Teledials

Personally I don't like them on the SC.

The SC430 is such a classy looking car it really needs a classy set of wheels. A lot more choice in the States for that model but in the end I suppose it is personal taste and budget.

I personally don't think they look all that bad. I used to have these wheels on my Aristo and though they were awesome. Definitely looked better in the metal. Suppose you'd be better looking for some second hand ones and then selling these on if you don't like them, they look well suited to soarers. I'm sure they cost a ridiculous amount from Lexus as well.

The Lexus models

IS...LS....GS....RX are all the same stud pattern 5 x 114.3 So all the wheels will "fit" But you will have to check the offset on some wheels .They may need spacers.
