Just a few questions. Left side front light is steamed up was wandering do they have di misters on them?

and also browsing the posts some ppl said the wing mirrors are heated?

is that perm or is there a switch?

also looking at some headlight conversion.

are they expensive? anyone recomend any?

Thanks

First of all..Welcome to LOC.

1.Demist on headlights....No. Sounds like water has got round the seal. Options would be to heat the unit in an oven to take apart, dry out and re-seal..easiest option maybe to upgrade to a couple of TDI units.

2.Wing mirror heating and heated front screen comes on with the ignition, no switch.

Yep, would definately recommend the Philips Bluevision bulbs. If you order from autobulbs.co.uk you also get free sidelamp bulbs.

As for the heated Mirrors, I have a 2002 Sport and according to the manual the heated mirrors are operated via the switch for the heated rear sreen. (the switch operates heated mirrors, heated rear screen and wiper blade heating all at the same time). They do work pretty fast too.

thanks for the replies

whats the difference between the blue and silver?

I think - the bluevision gives a bluish tint which kind of mimics the look of HID lamps ?, The silvervision looks more of a pure crystal white ?.

I used to have silvervision sidelamps on my previous car and they were very bright.
