There are far more qualified people on this board to answer the question, but consider this: Proper supercharger - about £2500. This thing - £60

The power graph they show is very deceptive - all it is showing is the power and torque with the supercharger on. So what did the original curve look like? If there's no comparison, the chart is meaningless.

Also, I reckon that when it's not running, it would restrict airflow, therefore reducing your power.
