As the radiator fan is not working, I'm assuming the sensor is faulty and it's not a fuse issue (the fan works if the A/C is turned on). So, is this a particularly difficult repair, and how much is it likely to cost? If it's easy to do, I'll probably do it myself if I can source the part. Any ideas on the cost of the part?

how many pins are in the rad sensor plug if its two in the past on older cars i have unplugged them and shorted the plug out in order to turn the fan on i only did it to get me home when it was really hot as it kept the fan going continuously also it will tell you if its the thermocouple or not. just a thought
