need to be run on 100ron or higher, they require oil changes every 2000miles

there is NO diagnostic equipment outside of japan for these cars, at all!!

new TOMS ecu's for these cars cost circa £2000

Same engine as the RS200, 3sge but turbo. Has a gasket to lower comp ratio. that blows quite easily, it Comes in 6mt or 5at.

performance wise.. not much faster than a RS200..

clutches are heavy in town traffic, the engines leak oil.

a good original car will cost alot now as many are kept as collectors cars, there are many fakes floating around........

no there not crap, but like any special limited build car it needs pampering, which many dont, the ones in private collections in japan now are asking silly money......

circa 30, 40 k.....

i was looking at buying one a few years ago, and was basically advised by a collector in Japan, that unless it had a complete history and you knew exactkly what you was getting to steer clear

he did have a white one for sale for 26k..... 1 owner 2,000 miles

i have a set of rear toms lights........lol, they alone cost 500 quid

I was looking into one of these aswell but heard from one of the lads in NZ that they aren't worth the hassle as they are very high maintenance and expensive to run. Just be happy with you RS200 like me!! :P

I've heard differently, the Netz Toyota 280T is 280HP (206kw)...

That is alot more power then a stock RS200Z :P

100 were made in the world, and we happen to have atleast 1 here in NZ.

The 280T that we have here is scary fast, just squats when he hits the boost :P .

Any boost is better then no boost right? haha

And YES they do need more maintance, and cost more to run.

But sure does look good with the 280T Full Bodykit, and a nice shiney intercooler hanging off the front, will try to find a pic and post in here :)

Edit: Found the pic:

(old pic though...)
