Will Other Lexus Head Units Fit?

this may sound daft but here goes....

my head unit has packed up in my 2000 is200 se.

Will a head unit from an SC430 fit? Connectors at the back look the same and Cd slot is at the top like mine. Don't fancy splashing out if it won't.

Pretty certain its a NO !

Dependant on what head unit you have at the minute in your IS, eg. Top Loading CD or Bottom Loading under the tape you will have to replace it like for like unless you go down the route of buying an aftermarket head unit....this however is not always an easy task from reading posts on here....
