Brake Warning Light

My first post and one for help!

I was driving last night when my Brake warning light came on. Recently I changed the front discs and pads but not the rear. No issues there done 500 miles since.

Anyway, back to last night, I pulled over umped the brakes and turned the engine on and off, then the light went out.

This morning I checked the fluid which looks ok and up to the top of the filler, but the light still comes on, I thought maybe the handbrake, but whien driving i gently pull it up and the warning sound still comes on.

So the question, could it be the rear pads, or something more serious?

Help appricated

Trevor

HA HA readin this just made me chuckle.

I had the same problem, I was fearing the worst, imagining expensive problems, then my mate said ' have you checked your brake lights?'. In the end it was just a bulb a whole £3 to replace what a tit I felt
