Hi,

I am going to replace the upper rear ball joints and front tie bars on my mk4 LS400. I have seen the write up on lexls.com for the upper front joints, are the rears similar? Are the torque settings the same?

Does anyone know the torque settings for the front tie bars?

I have tried signing up to Toyota TIS to get the relevant workshop manual bits but it needs a US address.

Do you mean replace the whole rear upper control arm ? or the ball joint on the rear upper control arm ? (coz i think the ball joint on the rear upper control arm isnt replaceable, only the two bushes are)

I am replacing the whole arm. Do you know if the torque settings are the same as the front?

I can find refernce to only 1 torque setting on the info i've got which says torque the bolt to 108Nm but its not very clear what they are referring to.

Here's a tip,

If a website like Toyota TIS requires a US address go onto google ( other search engines are available) and type in US ZIP CODES. Pick on you like and use it to access the site.

You don't have to live there to use one.
