My Series 1 LS400 didn't have remote central locking (well I only had two keys with out any buttons). So today I fitted this remote central locking system.

The box was very easy to fit. I wanted it to be a very simple install (I don't want the indicators to flash etc) so it was a simple case of finding a permanent live and the two wires that trigger the central locking.

The hard part was sorting the keys. They don't supply Lexus key blanks so I modified one of the standard Lexus keys with a Dremel to fit the key fob. Just got to do the other one tomorrow.

Maybe, but I went with modifying my keys with a dremel to make the fob end the same. Also cheaper as I dont have to pay for the keyblanks to be cut. (not that owning a LS400 is cheap!)
