Will I Lose My Deposit?

Hi,

I have recently ordered a new Lexus IS-250, paying £500 deposit and hoping to collect it on the 27th.

Although I absoltly love this car, it now seems I may have to cancel this order due to financial problems.

Does anyone know if I will lose my £500 deposit?

I think with most agreements u get 14 days to cancel with no loss, i could be wrong but am sure it would say in any agreement that u signed.

Depends on the dealer ,most will refund in my opinion .

I suppose it will be down to the descretion of the individual dealer. I dont think they HAVE to give it you back as thats what a deposit is, although id just explain your circumstances and maybe try and hint that you'd be wanting one in the near future but not just yet.
