Lexus Bluetooth Muffled

hi everyone, just started using the Bluetooth setup in my ls430 2005 ( bought yesterday from lexus with just 250 miles on clock ) and after finally getting the phonebook from my 6230i into it one entry at a time was disappointed with the sound output through the speakers, it sounds slightly muffled,

i thought i once read of a hack to clean this up however can now not find any link, any advice would be appreicated..................john

Have you tried another phone with the setup just in case it's a problem with the phone?

It's usually a good idea to get the firmware upgraded to the latest version on the handset - this can usually be done at any Nokia Service Centre within an hour or so.
