I don't think the IS has this ability unfortunately, the models above have some definable settings classed as CBEST settings I think they're called, but nothing like that for the IS.

For the doors you'd need an aftermarket alarm system which gives this functionality or alternatively get someone to develop a system for you - guess that would be more expensive than just fitting an aftermarket alarm though!

there is no factory option or hidden setting to allow auto locking or for the horn to sound when locking or unlocking - but if u are handy with electrics it wont take much to run a feed to the horn so u get a momentary pulse.

Just a quick question, why do you want the horn to sound when you lock your doors all that will do is draw attention to your self!!

Each to their own at the end of the day, just wondered :)

think he means 2 seperate things.

1. when you lock the car with the key fob it gives a quick beep

2 auto locking of the doors once a certain speed has been reached

Yeah i know about the auto locking, easy enough to press the button inside though :) thats just being lazy to get the car to do it for you!! Not saying he's lazy though :D
