Help Needed Sharpish Please!

right i have now a big prob i hope u guys can help with

2 plonkers were fightingthe other day and my drivers side door panel got dinted

i need to no how to remove the door panel to get to the panelto pop it out it also has stretched the paint and given it the orange peel effect

i no a bit about how to reduce the latter but any help would be appriciated

i want to have a go at it myself before i take it to bodyshop my mate owns one n said have a go urself if you dont get it right ill sort it so y not

undo screw behind door release handle, also one in the bottom of the small hand grip .

remove door handle release surround

pull door card away from door from bottom edge

disconnect courtesy light

lift off door panel

disconnect door switch plugs

cheers mate will have a look tom do you know how hard it is to knock dints out the only look like they need popping out

Try a sink plunger, might not need to remove the door card :winky:

would that really work though i think i would still have to remove the card as the top dint is right on the sill just under the bottom window seal

In that case you probably will have to remove it.

thought i may to be fair though the top one is hardly noticable its only real tiny so may try your suggestion on the main one and see if it works and how its looks in the other case of removing the card to get to the top dent are the hard to knock out or not

Do it gently.

pour very hot water over the dent, then apply very cold water

Not sure how you would plan on pushing it out from this side?

Peel the plastic back, but watch out as it is very sticky

thats what i thought about the panel looks hard to get behind and i think one of the dents is right where that top bar is
