Need Some Advice On Lower Ball Joint

Recommended Posts

hi all

just done the 60k service for my IS200 last week, on the safety report, it said 'both of the front lower ball joint have excess play, need urgent attention'

however, i brought my car to MOT yesterday, it passed the test with no problem at all, the technician didn't mention anything about the lower ball joint.

i did a research on the forum, lower ball joint issue is one of the main reason for MOT failure. now i am quite in two minds..

could anyone please advise should i replace the lower ball joint now? if the lower ball joint do have excess play, what kind of result it may lead to?

thanks in advance.
