My saga continues...

Right, what do you lot think of R33 Skyline GTS-T with the autobox? Similar drive to the manual version?

I'm looking at Skylines right now, and considering R32 GT-Rs also.

Thanks friendly LOC people!

If I was to buy a Skyline then it would be a R34 GTR.. As they are still in the £25k + region then a R33 GTR. If buying a Skyline I would feel cheated if I bought one and it wasn't a GTR. I also wouldn't buy a R32 Gtr or any model because I think they are too old and look too dated, plus I don't like the overall look and they are only rear wheel drive not 4 wheel.

The interior is very poor on an R32 also and I think it is on an R33, it just looks very basic and also wears very quickly and easily especially the steering wheel..

If you're going to buy a Skyline then power is a very big factor in buying one. I've heard a lot of people being dissapointed when test driving them because they are don't feel as powerful as they should be. Apparently you need to spend a bit of money to free them up and get out of them what you originally thought you'd get.

This is just my opinion though.

Skyline purists love the R32 as its some what become a classic plus with the rear wheel drive aspect its loved by drifters.

Having saying all this I've still got my eye on one myself (R34) :winky:

I'm being advised to spend cash modding my GS instead...choices, choices...

Budget is 4k..so R34 GTR is out of the question!

I'd try and recuperate some money from the GS as modding that will cost LOADS. Then either go for an Aristo or with the extra money from the sale of the GS a Supra TT
