Another quick questions with regards to mods. Because I am so new to all this, can anybody recommend some good mods, or at least mods that really do make the altezza stand out etc? I've decided to add a few, but before I do, I wanna make sure that I am adding the right things?

cheers all

Hi Leanne, welcome to the LOC Family, good to see the imports growing in numbers.

You need to be carefull of a serious bug going round - think they call it the modding bug, I caught it a few years ago and still suffering from it

Happy motoring

All depends on your budget??? what are you prepared to spend?....

they do look well with a nice TRD bodykit, thankfully mine came with it already... but i fitted a flat style boot spoiler myself which suits nicely :)

Engine wise it's a much limited choice with having an AUTO.... but that can be a good thing too

 @ Janey - too true, too true :D

Hope you're good by the way ;)

@ Leanne, well, it looks like we can officially class you as LOC's latest hottie!!

For the mods, you've got little things like clear side repeaters, newer spec rear and front light clusters, shorter aeriels for the radio, lips for the front rear and skirts for the sides, lots of little subtle things you can do to tidy the car up.

Luckily it's a good base to work with, as I'm sure your hairdresser tells you :winky:

Hi & welcome Leanne :D

Lovely looking car you have there :D

You'll have to excuse the boys - I think they have been 'girl starved':lol:

 @ Janey - too true, too true :D

Noel - I'm on a bit of a budget but It has already had a few mods applied. A shorter aeriel for the radio, painted brake calipers, & the inbuilt sat nav system is has been turned into a dvd player/screen. Might add a flat style boot spoiler?

Janey - lol at the boys, thanks for the welcome! :)

Aido - Yeah, a very good base to work with & I should know, I am a hairdresser!! lol :) might add some skirts & a spoiler to finish it off as it has already got a few mods.

Take care all,

Leanne

Why didn't I get inundated with welcome wishes like Leanne when I joined? Could it have anything to do with the fact i'm a fat ugly over the hill male?

Anyway welcome Leanne, and remember, most of your new found fans are married (im not). And those who are not married are only interested in your Altezza (i'm not).:blush:

Must admit I was thinking summat similar :D Funny how we all seemed to accidentally converge on the same topic lol. Must be one of the biggest Newbie welcomes haha.

As for subtle mods -

Grille (you've got)

Stubby aerial (check)

Exhaust trim?

Spoiler (as you said, the low rise ones are pretty smart and not OTT)

Are you lookin for styling or engine bits?

Laters,

Jamie

If your on a budget go Gold and you get discounts and some cool little LOC stickers for your car :D

Did you import it yourself?

why heelllooo.

how u doing?

must admit id like an altezza for the power, urs looks pretty mint. but i do love my leather seats and the cheaper insurance. hehe.

did i see it advertised on eBay under the classified section?

and as for mods, id definitely reccomend lowering it, and a mod i done a little while back that looks good is painting the inside of the headlights. theres lots of little things u can do to make it yours.

A big thanks for all the great advice peeps! really appreciate it. :) will give a few of those ideas a go.

Jammie - I'm looking for both styling & engine mods really, any good advice would be most welcome. :)

Sorted vti - I also saw that add strangly enough! no it's not mine, only just purchased my tezza.

Aaron - no, I didn't import it. Brought it from an import specialist here in the uk.

Thanks again for all the welcomes, :)

cheers,

Leanne :D

Oh! almost forgot, nice car, and whilst I am still remembering things, it comes with age my dear so please forgive me, you must go Gold, it could save you a fortune.

Thanks for the welcome Noel, much appreciated. I should just point out that I joined the public forum under a different name, but had to change it when going for Gold for some techie reason.

I was just making coment about the number of replies Leanne got compared to other new members who joined at the same time. Best of luck to her by the way.

Welcome to the Club Leanne

A hairdresser eh, I don't envy you birds, I was only told this morning she envied us blokes because there's me, clay stick, wap wap wap and done and good looking as ever (well actually ugly but that's another matter) - 45 minutes later and after the hair dryer and hair straighteners were sorted (and she'd burnt her ears) she was looking a million dollars

Just thought, if you're looking at engine mods, a mate has the GReddy turbo kit for the RS200, it really transformed the car, it's seriously rapid now!

He's on here, Zee, and if the lads think I'm smooth, they've never met Zee, I've never heard anyone smooth talk the boys like he does!
