Cd Player Cartridge

Went to change discs earlier... but the cartridge won't eject :o

It still play's fine, and selects each of the 12 CD's...

Anybody experienced this before???

Haven't quite had the same problem but the front flap that comes down needs to come down all the way for it to eject. When I had a tape or something in the boot that stopped it coming down all the way, I had the same problem.

Dont know about the Lexus CD changer, but in one of my old cars, I had a aftermarket Sony HU/changer, when you disconnected the power the cartridge would eject.

Dont know if this is the case with the Lexus/Pioneer stuff.

If it is stuck then trying this wront work, but say for example the button is broke it may work.

The flap is coming down fully, and the power has never been disconnected and the switch seems fine...

I had a problem on my IS when I could not eject CDs. I took out the fuse for the radio/CD and then replaced it. I was then able to eject. I guess all I am suggesting is, find the fuse for the CD stacker and remove the fuse to see what happens

Once you've cured this, buy a decent MP3 player and a casette adapter. I have, and have all my CDs with me now

I have the opposite problem, my cartridge ejects but it no longer reads any CDs.
