Fm Radio Reception Keeps Cutting Out

I often notice when listening to the radio, mostly BBC Radio 2 & Radio 4, that the reception goes completly off for about 1 or 2 seconds and then comes back on again. I do tend to have the "TI" traffic information function set on all of the time.

Does anyone else suffer this or anyone know what the problem is or perhaps have an explanation?

I used to have a similar thing but off for only a split second, it went away when I removed the rubbish tape player head unit ;)

Power antenna gets a great signal with my pioneer head unit now, no signal loss at all.

Not an LS, but my IS radio does it if I have Traffic enabled - hugely irritating. My previous IS did it too, although I don't remember it being quite as bad.
