Air Filter

Guys and gals.

As the proud owner of a Lex IS, I am thinking about changing the air filter. I don't want the engine to sound raucos or anything, I like it being quiet. What benefits would the air filter give me?

Hello mate

I've got a K+N replacement filter in my is200 very impressed with it so far and it seemed to help with the fueling as getting a bit more to the gallon? as it's a direct replacement it does'nt seem to make any more noise than standard you can get them quite cheep off e-bay and you can wash and re-oil them so works out a good buy?

Part number is 33-2030 mate, from the Toyota Celica I think. :)

has anyone tried the Powertec filters by any chance?

I got one fitted in mine and its fantastic...n the best part is...you never have to buy a replacement and it cleans off really easy :D
