Hallo Folks.

New here - have had my 250 SE auto with MM for nearly a month and after 12 years and 5 audi's I'm loving my new Lexus.

However I need some help from you learn'ed lot 'cos I've spent too long trying to find the answer in the oversized owners manual and have comprehensivly failed.

The car has the MM package and I would like to try and find how to set a default setting for the aircon, fan speed and direction of airflow. When I first collected the car everytime I started it the temperature, fan speed and direction defaulted to the last setting. ie. low fan speed, aircon on and 17 degrees.

However I now find that everytime I start the car after a longish stop or it being left overnight the aircon is off, the fan is off and the cabin temp is set way higher than I want. I have to manually go into the climate function, select the aircon, select a fan speed and put the temp down to where I want it.

Apologies in advance for being thick and I would welcome some help.

Many thanks

Hi... strange one this

I too have MM; whenever I start the car up in the morning or after a stop somewhere, the air-con setting and temperature are as I left it.

You can set side-to-side temperature differences, but I'm unaware of a de-fault return setting.

If anyone does, you'll find out very soon. If not, looks like a trip for a free 'latte' at one the worlds best dealerships :winky:

Take it to the dealership as it should retain the last settings Only slight annoyance I have is using the voice activation 'lower temperature' and it drops to brass monkey temperatures. Much easier just to hit the button...but hey the toys are there to be used :D

I had this problem some time ago. There were some posts on the topic. Strangly enough it was cured by resetting the memories on the drivers seat. Dont ask why just try it.
