2nd Chance Now A 250 Auto

Recommended Posts

Now don't get me wrong I truly loved everything about my 220d, no rattles, 40mpg, everytime I parked it I would have another look as I went into my office, all that.

But the common thread here and also in my mind was that i should have bought the 2.5 V6 auto. But I made the sensible choice.

After 3 months and 5000 miles of faultless motoring I wrote the lovely Lexus off. (my fault)

That was 1st march, I'm getting my new Lexy on Tuesday from Leicester, Sorry Jamboo its a 250 V6 auto. Windsor Blue.

That engine is superb.

The sensible choice isn't always the best choice.

I just hope this one doesn't rattle.

...personally, I believe your choice is the sensible choice!

Your gonna love it, and my fingers are crossed for you re. rattles - thankfully, my couple of minor gripes were dealt with by the dealer and have not returned ;)

Seriously matey - you've done the right thing. Like you say, sometime you need to use your heart, not your head!

That engine choice is superb. My IS250 SE Auto is due for change in December and I'm already leaning towards Cadaxton Slate with silver leather interior. The missus keeps muttering about the new Audi A5 (she works for Audi and gets discount) but even she appreciates the relaxing drive, the looks and the interior.

I have a IS250 Sport and absolutley love it. Would have liked the auto, but hey. I went for the black which looks great but is an absolute b*tch to keep clean.

Have a drive from Sussex to Suffolk this evening and looking forward to it already. Not finding the fuel econmy too bad for a V6!
