still on the search for our next car - i would be happy with the BM convertible, but hubby really isn't keen :duh: - saw some pics of the new Infiniti that will be among the models released over here next year.

i don't know a lot about Infiniti - presumably at least on a par with Lexus? the G37 seems to be an up-market 350Z from what i've read & definitely ticks a lot of boxes on my wish list :winky:

thoughts please guys! :D

Infiniti = Nissan

lexus = toyota

Yep up-market Nissan 350z

As a Z owner Nissan have got a lot to learn from Lexus on dealer satisfaction...

Infiniti does seem to be doing well in the US as they are high spec cars at reasonable cost.

Reliability will be better than the Germans but will not be as good as Lexus / Toyota.

The G37 is tempting, its a shame Lexus only have the SC as a 2 door coupe, and the Supra replacement is still some way off.

I would seriously consider it.

Very good call on this one, Infiniti as said are Nissan's luxury arm and they offer some really nice cars, I've seen a lot of them over in the US and they really are nice, put a Nissan 350Z and an Infiniti G35 next to each other and the Infiniti looks so much nicer imho!

Definitely worth waiting for - as per the old adage - good things come to those who wait :)

Also driven the Infinit FX45 and thats a big winner too.

hmmm, interesting - seems it might be worth the wait on this one then, at least until it gets a few test drives & reviews in the press.

in the meantime, a new Merc comes out in August - yet more research for me to do! it's well liked in the reviews i've seen up to now.

thanks for the input :D
