Wiper Blades

Hi all,

I need some new wiper blades for my IS. I'm after the whole replacement not just the blade it's self.

Does anyone know the best place to get them from?

Halfords don't sell them, i rang the dealer and they said around £35 for both. I have seen them on eBay for £10 for both.

Has anyone got them off eBay before and does anyone know the sizes i need. Is it 22" and 19".

neither mate, get some PIAA super sporza wipers.....sooooo much better than anything else on the market :winky: :D

If you want something different I would recommend some retrofit flat wiper blades that look like the ones fitted to many new vehicles. After experimenting with a few different brands, I find the Bosch Aerotwin the best! Pic below for reference, but then I had ones from Trupart which unfortunately turned out to have a faulty blade on the driver side. If you gets ones from eBay, stay away from the ProVision (or similar spelling) ones, they perform horribly as they don't wipe properly on the downward motion.

BTW, I got my wiper blades from http://www.wiperblades.co.uk/, very convenient just select your vehicle and it lists all the correct wiper blades, which are 22" and 19". Oh and even the most expensive (eh... the Bosch Aerotwin ) is only £25 for the pair, the normal ones work out to be around £10, so stay away from the sdealers for these!

You can get PIAA wiper blades from PRI Racing, don't forget your Gold discount.

Trust me mate, you won't regret getting the PIAA wipers, they are easily the best on the market and last a good length of time too!!!

got mine in carbon fibre finish with spoilers on both :winky: :D

Did I read it rgiht? £25 PER blade (for the PIAA Silicone Sporza wiper blade & carrier carbon) - WoW! That is definitely way outof my budget and I'd rather pay Dealer price for them and replace them more often. Crickey...£50 for the pair, here I was thinking that the 'flat blade' Bosch were a little pricey @ £25 for the pair ;)

Fitted my blades today not had chance to use them yet ... typical!!!

I gave the windscreen a good clean with the silicone towel you get aswell and hopefully i'll be able to see where i'm going at night now

make sure you run them dry for about 10 mins at first. then run them dry intermittently every few months or so :D :winky:

My local Halfords had Bosch blades that are listed for the IS200 for £18 (full set including spoiler). Fitted on mine no problem.
