Possible Ways To Remove Aurial From Roof.

Hi guys, Im getting an IS in a month or so. Im buying of someone who works with my dad and atm its his company car. As with all the vans in company, his car has got a radiotelephone installed. He had its loose inside the car so that there were no holes in the dash, but he did have to have a n aerial fitted just above the windscreen in front of the sunroof.

Anybody got any ideas on how to remove it and fill the hole without resorting to a respray of the whole roof.

I was thinking of some kind of grommit or something painted the same colour as the car (silver)

As, Im planning on putting a carputer in the car eventually, so maybe I coud use the hole for a GPS aerial.

Its not a massive problem to be honest, but just a niggly little one.

you will need to drop the headlining to remove it, to do this you have to remove the a,b, and c pillar covers, and the door trims
