Sat Nav Gps Systems

Hi Greg here all the way from New Zealand,I have recently purchased a 99 rs 200z Altezza that has Sony Satnav system installed into the car also has the option of watching t.v.But the problem is it all works when you turn it on but does not actually do anything.I presume that it is configured for the Asian market and not anything else.

Is there any way in which it can be reprogrammed or reconfigured to work in my country or am I better off just to leave it as an ornament.There is very little information available on the net about these systems as I have spent many hours looking(or maybe just not in the correct place).

So any info that people can pass onto me or help me with will be muchly appreciated.

As I said in my email, you are better off replacing this aftermarket unit. To convert it would cost more than a simple replacement :)
