Mirror Position

I’ve just had Auto windscreens out to replace my windscreen.

The problem is that the new screen they bought had the mirror boss in the wrong place. Mine is located directly under the doted area at the top of the screen and this one was a lot higher in the centre of the doted area and if fitted my mirror would not fit and if it did it would be touching the roof lining.

My first thoughts were that Lexus had changed the design to eliminate that terrible shaking (wishful thinking) but after calling my dealer they said that there as been no such change.

So I thought it must be a third party who have got it wrong but no it was ordered directly from Lexus and even had their name in the bottom corner.

So my question is: where is your mirror situated?

There is a little "dotted" area which on mine is where the attachment is - mine is still on Factory screen

Thanks for that Jamboo thats where mine is.

The one they came with was alot higher in the middle of the large dotted area.

I dont understand how it was wrong as they got it direct from Lexus.

Mines the same as that pic, but has another bit next to it for the sensors for lights and wipers!

I love it when you turn up the tunes and watch everthing behind you get blurry!!! It says something when the stereo in your car is better than the one in the house lol.....
