Curtain Airbags On A-pillar

I'm wanting to fit a Nokia Car Kit to my IS300. I need to run the microphone cable from near the rearview mirror to the control box behind the glovebox. In my non-IS cars I've simply popped off the plastic from the A-pillar and put the cable in there, but the IS has curtain airbags.

Does the cover come off at all or is there any way to access this? I don't want to break or set off the airbag doing the install. I'm sure the cable can be put here as I've seen loads of IS200's with Nokia Car Kits installed and I'm certain the cable has run along this route.

Any help appreciated.
