Newbie Ls400 Owner

Hi all, recently purchased a '92 LS400. What a car! I'm looking for some help with the stereo. I'm considering fitting an after market one, mainly to connect my Ipod (the fm transmitter doesn't give a clear sound) and would really like to fit a double din audio/visual screen. Is this possible?, is there a facia available?

I've found one to fit a single din on eBay USA, but not a double. I've also been told that if my car has an amp fitted the speaker mint not work???Any help would be great.

PS I've just bought the clear indicator lens kit mentioned on one of the threads, Think they'll look pretty cool

i dont think that the double din fit could be wrong and you can wire into the amp you can buy the bits on eBay usa

I seem to remember a post re a double din ( Think it stands for Deutches Industrie Nummer spelling not guaranteed) but whether it was on the UK or US forum I can't remember.

Someone however will and no doubt assist you.

thanks for your help... I'll re-trace some of the previous threads and hopefully get somewhere, have any of you made any mods???
