Number Plate Bulb

Could anyone please tell me how to replace one of the number plate bulbs, does the whole unit that runs across the top of the number plate, need to be unscrewed and then levered out, to repace the bulb.

Hi,

No you have to remove the trim/soundproofing under the bootlid ( this is secured using a combination of plastic fasteners) once removed the bulbholder twists 90 degrees and comes out of the lens,bit fiddly but do able.

bulbs are the 5 watt pushfit capless types.

Before refitting the trim make sure none of the fixings have fallen out or moved position.
