Samsung Hdtv Malarky

Just got myself a HDTV, a samsung 27" machine, now ive set up the xbox and sky no probs but the sky setup is not as good a picture as i thought it would be.

so....

do i need to change some kind of settings, or do i need a better scart cable? and if so which one.

btw its just a normal sky multiroom box, not sky+ or hdtv. i know i wont get a hdtv pic, but its not quite as it should be if that makes sense.

im crap at this technical stuff so any help would be appreciated.

Have you got the Sky box set to output RGB?

I haven't done one of these for ages, but think it's Services, Video Settings then you get PAL or RGB I think - needs to be RGB to get the best quality pic!

cheers for that aido, had a fiddle about with it (sky i mean ) and it seems to have made the picture considerably better
