Does anybody have any tips or products to use on the front to stop the millions of flies sticking to the bumper?

i seem to get more in my is than in any other car!!

Only real options to actually stop them splatting on there is either one of these Car Bra which IMHO look pants or a clear stick on covering sticky bra

Personally I'd go for Kam's suggestion of the bug remover :winky:

Drive under 12 mph !!!.... It will annoy hell out of anybody behind (especially on motorways) but should stop any bug splatter !!

At a car show last year (Wicksteed Park, Kettering) we convoyed for a good while and three quarters the planet's fly population, one of the lads had brought some Simoniz Bug Wips. Small pack of wipes but they worked miracles on all our cars!

For a cheaper alternative wipe some veg oil over the bumper and leave a light smear (you wont see it) and will wipe off any bugs.....thats a Kim and Aggie tip :D

I know the answer and its fully tested by me LOL

Back to black by simonize.. spray loads on and dont rub off. It stays wet so when you come to wash or go to a meet you simply wipe off all the dead flies.

Woah I grew up in Kettering and went to Wickies loads as a kid. Now there's a meet I should have made it to. Err sorry

Two weeks commuting and a day trip to Hull = 1500 miles since I last washed the car. Think I'm gonna have to sand blast the bugs off the car Seriously, I've got some Halfords bug and tar remover and it does the job ok.
