Resident Parking In Hammersmith

I'm about to move to the Hammersmith Area of London & I'm trying to find out info.

I've never lived in London before (yeah I'm an Aussie that's been posted there for a year or so) so I'm trying to find out what the pro and con's are, maybe how difficult it is to find a rental property & how much parking is available.

Any help would appreciated.

hi and welcome to LOC steve

lots of rental properties are available across the whole of London, but all at a premium, would depend on your needs and budget

parking in London is a nightmare, and very costly

if it is just work you propose to do in Hammersmith it may be better to commute in

It is mainly for convenience as Hammersmith is within a "close-ish" proximity of work which will have really irregular hours.

Budget isn't really an issue.

Out of curiousity, is it possible to rent storage garage space in lieu of trying to find street parking?
