Audio Help Needed...

Hi all, I need Help

I've just popped down to my Local Audio Specialists in Cardiff.

They have told me they would charge between 600-1000 to fit a Aftermarket Head Unit to my LS400

Is this true? They say they would have to rewire all the speakers and its a long complicated job!!!

I know the Lexi and IS's are tricky being 8 Way and I had to bypass the Amp to fit one before, but is it really that costly to fit one to my LS???

I also planned in the future to have some Bass in the boot, subs and amp etc but they say don't even go there :shutit:

What can I do??? Advice please (someone must have done summit like this before)

Is the LS much different from the IS in terms of it just needing a fascia plate and a wiring adapter?

If so, £600 is flippin' steep, and a grand is a joke. Come round mine, I'll do it for £500 lol

LS is totally different from the IS, audio and aircon share the same cubical they look like a single unit

jus joined so catching up on thing i've missed, have u sorted out the problem, if not, can u send me a pic, and i'll see my bro(buda who works for osaka-autodesigns.co.uk (cardiff), fitting audio installations, he jus done a evo 7 complete install, gona be doing my lexus is200 soon. hope i can help. :)

For my IS sport there was a wiring harness you can buy which plugs into the amp behind the glovebox, possibly there's one for yours, give Jay a shout at Uplands fella he'll sort ya out.
