Led Bulb For Garden Solar Light

I've got some solar lights in the garden and a couple have leaked a little water in and the bulb wires have rusted through. I was going to try and get some spares and solder them in ( I can manage that OK ).

Question is what is the spec. of the bulbs? It's an AA rechargeable Battery so assume 1.2 to 1.5 volts for that and bulbs are clear and have two bare wires sticking out them about 6 or 7 mm long.

So what do I look for? I tried maplin online, http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?criter...rce=15&SD=Y

and there appear to be different sizes, is that the length of the bulb?

I'm going back a bit here but i think size is the size of the enclosure of the LED. Measure you current ones to check. They should also be powered fine from the AA batteries in the solar light.

(Don't quote me tho, i don't want a bill from you for all those expensive LED's)

Thanks for the linky there Chris, looks like the garden ones are 12 volt that doesn't seem right. Think I will get a couple of new ones to save the hassle.
