What Is Happening To Lexus?

Recommended Posts

What worries me is that my friends BRAND NEW 07 GS300 has a rear view mirror that vibrates, if Lexus can't fit a blinking interior mirror properly what else on the car is buggered?

I have heard that Lexus will not just bolt into action to fix things on a production car unless it is on the grounds of safety...!

Normally, they develop and test thoroughly - up to 18 months...which it now is for the mirror, which in my view is both a quality issue and possibly a safety concern...on mine it used to virate so much that I could only tell that there was a vehicle behind me and may be guess the colour...

I stuck some gaffer tape on the ball joints, which helped, but it looked stoopid, so I put some black Insulation tape on them. That fell off and left a gooey sticky patch in the heat in May and I have just cleaned it up...

Overall, it's not too much of a concern. I don't speed so I don't need to keep checking for flashing blue lights :shifty:

It's much better now...
