has anyone tried the tesco new value comprehensive insurance? give it a go.

they cut the cost by half off adrian flux premiums and have £0 excess too. it was cheaper than their TFT policy too.

figured that i can buy the wifes policy and mine and still save a few quid left compared to AF.. i will be on the phone to AF monday.

Just got to be careful as they are trying to give out cheap policy's by cutting corners so dont know what the service would be like if a claim is made.

That worked out more expensive than my current insurance with Admiral - really don't understand how insurance works

AFAIK they do cover modified cars and imports but not on-line, the Value Insurance is only available on-line. I tried for the Tezza and the car was not listed.

Look HERE for comparison of cover to the standard policy.

It all looked good until I clicked on the amount the excess would be £100 for glass £475 accidental damage and thats with 0 volantry. !! think i'll be sticking with Lexus for my insurance for the moment. perhaps others will have better luck :)
