Do you get more brake dust with grooved discs, also it has been said that you can a click noise at low speeds when the pad runs over the grooves.

In theory you should get more dust but I have grooved and drilled on my IS200 and haven't really noticed more dust than when I had the OEM set up...perhaps that's due to using Mintex pads instead of the OEM's. Never heard a clicking noise either, as the pads shouldn't be bearing on the discs anyway unless you have hydraulic pressure applied.

If you get some low dust pads such as EBC Redstuff etc then you shouldn't get any more dust with grooved discs. The only extra noise you will get is when braking quite hard from high speeds, but apart from that they should be fine....:)
