Speed Sensor Location

Hi there I have poted this under the is220 forum with no joy

My sppedo needle seems to be eratic

I am trying to find the speedometer sensor location to check for faulty connections

The car is an is220d

Could do with some help

i do not know were it is but most now run off one of the abs sensors or it would be on the back of the gear box

Surely the car must still be under warranty?

Take it to the dealers?

...or have you invalidated the warranty with an aftermarket Satnav...?

I hate taking the thing to the dealers it always sits there for hours until they look at it and guarenteed it would not go wrong at the time they look at it.

I have now searched the whole car, its not on the ABS, its not on the back of the gearbox, nor the back of the diff.

Its got to be somewhere, but where, does anyone know where it could be or does it work by magic

please help
