Changed To Ik20 Spark Plug - Malfunction

Hi there,

Request for some help or suggestion as to what may be the problem.

I've just changed my spark plugs to IK20s and ensured that everything

is back together (I did disconnect the intake air temp sensor to take off

the air cleaner box). Engine started okay no misfiring BUT the Malfunction

Indicator Lamp has come on.

Has anyone come across this before?

Should I do a ECU reset to clear errors?

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

I would re-check the temp sensor connection to make sure that is OK. Failing that ECU re-set to see if that clears it.

It defo sounds like something has not been connected up properly.

I've reset ECU - now okay.

I realised that I started the engine before re-assembling the airbox and reconnecting the sensor

to check all was okay. Hence ECU correctly identified a sensor issue - dooh.
