As we have recently purchased a dog, we have found that if we lock the dog in the car (Ls400 mkIII) she sets the alarm off (obviously), so I was just wondering whether there is a way of just locking the doors, but not arming the alarm system!?

Thanks a lot in advance for any help.

Should try the LS forum for a proper answer realy dude,

But I can tell you that on the my GS (mk2), one click on the fob will lock the doors only and the second click will activate the alarm and the deadlocks, give it a try.

No idea what year a MkIII LS is but on my MK1 GS a single click of the remote button locks and arms the alarm (quick flash of the indicators), if you click the button again, it disables the interior motion detector (long flash of the indicators). I would assume that even if the button clicks are not the same, there would be a similar feature.
