Right. I have today seen the coolest Dyson ever, a tiny little handheld thingy. Now I know that last time I used any of these little handheld vacuum things I may as well have not have bothered, but does anyone have any experience of either this Dyson or any other handheld vacuum? I'm just wondering whether things have changed at all or whether they're still as useless. When I'm cleaning my car, the vacuum is an all-round cleaning implement - from dusting with the brush attachment - much better than any other way to be honest, to doing the seats and the floor so therefore a good vac is a must.

For my money on a standard vac, you can't beat a Henry - they're just so powerful but not all that convenient and they're loud things too. Any thoughts anyone?

Has anyone had any experiences of using one of thoe Vax things to wash their floor mats? Any good?

Have a look at AutoExpress ( I think it was last weeks ) they reviewed the small hoovers suitable for cars. I'll give you a clue the Dyson didn't come out tops.

I've got the Vax pro carpet cleaner and it works a treat but probably a bit wet for doing seats it does the carpets great and i've got the Vax handheld which has some serious suction but could do with a longer nozzle for the tight gaps?.. :)
