The wife put the seat right back to hoover the footwell. The seat has now jammed fully back though the release mechanism appears to operate correctly. Anyone had this happen?

The car is now stuck on the drive. My wife and I can't drive it with the seat right back. Could I ring up the RAC(3 years cover from new) to try and fix the problem?
