It sounds like an SE then as it hasnt got the tinted windows but it wouldnt be the first time i'm wrong! :whistling:

It is worth 3.5k though but i would recommend a Hpi just to check for accidents or things like that mate, yeah the reason we're asking about the badges is possibilities of rear end shunt. Just being careful he probably just took them off. I think the original sport was 10-15 mm lower and then they lowered the sport again after 01 by another 15mm

NMR 'Clocking' or turning back the mileage reading on a vehicle is a major problem in the UK, costing an estimated £100 million per annum. HPI operates the National Mileage Register (NMR), containing almost 85 million recorded mileages. HPI Cross-references the mileage you provide against any readings previously recorded against the vehicle and advises you whether any discrepancies have been identified. You will receive one of four responses: i.'No mileage discrepancy is currently indicated by the National Mileage Register' - the mileage you have entered appears consistent with any other mileage readings held by HPI. ii. 'Data currently held on the National Mileage Register indicates that there may be a mileage discrepancy on this vehicle' - these discrepancies could indicate that the vehicle has been 'clocked'. iii.'The mileage you have entered is inconsistent with other data currently held on the National Mileage Register' - there is a difference between the mileage you have provided and other data held at HPI, which suggests the figure you have provided may be incorrect. iv.'Data currently held on the National Mileage Register indicats that this vehicle may have been subject to an odometer change' - there are a number of legitimate reasons for changing odometers, but you should be aware that the vehicle has probably covered more miles than are currently indicated. If you receive response (ii)-(iv) above, the details of previous mileages will help you evaluate whether the vehicle has in fact been 'clocked'. To find out more you can contact us

Police stolen

These vehicles remain the property of the individual or organisation from whom they were taken. The RAC Car Data Check provides information from the Police National Computer on vehicles that are confirmed as currently stolen. Never buy a vehicle on this register, because you stand to lose it, together with the money you paid for it.To find out more you can contact us

Insurance theft

Insurance theft

Each year 150,000 thefts are recorded by insurers. The RAC Car Data Check will tell you about outstanding insurance interests against a vehicle you are looking to buy - which may mean you won't own it, however much you pay for it.To find out more you can contact us

Outstanding finance

Outstanding finance

Is a major part of the RAC Car Data Check as nearly two thirds of new vehicles sold every year are purchased using some form of finance agreement. With over 7 million current finance agreements registered with HPI, you need to make sure that the car you are buying is not subject to one of them. If it is, you can use the details provided to contact the lender and determine the current status. To find out more you can contact us

Security watch

Security watch

This is an alert register, which typically records vehicles at high risk of fraud or theft (e.g. hire cars, demonstrator vehicles and garage forecourt stock.) It is used by the police, finance companies and the motor trade, to ensure that these vehicles can be traced if someone steals them and attempts to sell them fraudulently. Do not go ahead with the purchase of any vehicle recorded on this register unless HPI subsequently gives you the all-clear.To find out more you can contact us

Plate transfer

Plate transfer

Indicates whether a vehicle has had a (legitimate) registration plate change since April 1990. People change plates to personalise their vehicles, but they can also change them to obscure a vehicles history. The RAC Car Data Check includes an enquiry check against all prior plates, to identify other interests that may still be associated with the vehicle you are buying. To find out more you can contact us

That does seem very strange and i would think about looking elsewhere. There are plenty about but you will probably pay a little more.

Surely something is wrong on the register it says 810,000 miles ?????? I know lexus's are reliable but jees.

There must be a typing error somewhere surely ?

The guy selling it works next door to me. Don't think he would sell me :tsktsk:

It did also say that it is an SE and worth £4,870

Think i check with RAC the mileage situation then ill prob just buy it.

Check the mileage, it's not just the 810,000.

30,000 on 13 Dec 2002 and 80,000 on 13 April 2004.

If that all comes back clean and just an error at their end then give it a go mate.

At least you know it's an SE now which means 1 less group insurance than the sport.
