Black Headlights

hi guys, i was thinkin of painting my headlights this w-end, i have some black heat resistant spray paint left over frm doing my brake drums

would this paint be ok 2 use, + can i just spray over the chrome

May be better to use a high temp plastic primer or similar, or the black paint may flake off.

I sprayed mine with standard flat black paint directly on the chrome, it still looks the same as when I did it 4 years ago ...

Try using the spray tint which you can get from motor factors, it worked well when i tinted my clear LED rear fogs.

Hi mate i have painted the chrome bits using the same paint has you have said. and these worked fine so far juust do not touch it waite till totally dry.
