jus hadda report my return on las tank of fuel, 1160km (725 miles) wit a range of 67km left in tank. well chuffed. car jus turned 30000km an d mixed driving

That's remarkable Brendan, it's about the distance from John o Groats to the English Channel. Watch the consumption on the way back, looking at the map it's uphill all the way.

I do that sort of distance on a tank all the time. Here's the tank...

I can in mine - I've now fathomed out how to get low 50's on a Tank full at 12500 miles...stick it in 5th, leave it at 60....hit the cruise button and relax...you'll only be 10-11 minutes late per hour on the motorway compared to driving at 70mph...

Seriously, that way mine will easily hit and beat 50mpg....consistently. In my old diesels I could better this at 70....but none of them had 177bhp and 295lb's of pull...so I suppose it's OK
