hi,

as the title says im looking for a newer graphics card - i have an asus 512mb 7600gs but it cant run the graphic intensive games smoothly enough (i get about 30FPS) so looking for something else that will but wont break the bank at the same time - someone suggested saphire 1950 but i dont think its upto spec.

any ideas?

Ive got the 1950 pro but AGP on an old 3gig P4 1.5g ram....I can play every game my son buys :winky:

30 FPS is ok, I cant be ars_ed to tweak settings etc, slight slowdown on MTW2 when 5,000 french laying seige however for a sensible answer to your question I would suggest going on this forum

in the end i bought a Evga 8800gts and im getting an average of 120FPS and upto 170FPS on far cry, but have to tweak some settings first as i get black spots in the game sometimes.

Ill try it with stalker and see what happens :msn-cry:
