Phone Kit

Hey, I'm looking to install a Nokia Bluetooth phone kit, to the oem headunit. And i was wondering if there's a function to mute the radio when the mobile rings.

Im also interested in doing this Stetz, can I ask the model number for the blue tooth kit from nokia?

Mines the bottom loading CD player, are the pics numbered on the rear?

The nokia kit is CK-7W

from what i remember it was only the bottom loading player that had the mute wire - but i may be wrong.

sure someone will be along to correct if its wrong

Anyone know about fitting the cradle harness to dash without screw holes

I have the CK-7w in mine, with the top loader, and my mute works fine, but it fitted over a year ago and i can't for the life of me remember which pin i connected to

couldn't get it to work through the car speakers though so i used the seperate speaker and stuck it behind the dash below the steering wheel. sorry i can't be of more help

i also didn't fit a cradle cause it is Bluetooth as well, i just keep the phone in the centre console

I had a Nokia CK-7W fitted in my GS300 when I bought it...

I removed it and replaced with my Sony Ericsson HCB-700..

Used the same 4 wires that the nokia kit was wired to, all of them behind the satnav panel..

easy enough to take out and have a look if it helps anybody...

Also, the Nokia kit looks like new, and is for sale at the moment..

I've got a sony ericcson cradle and a tomtom 720 attatched to the dash using a brodit clip - just google them. Really good finish and they just clip on and off without leaving any marks.

My HU has top loaded CD unit and I have Nokia CK-7W. Mutes fine and sound comes from speakers but I didn't install myself.
